Book about How to Play the World's Most Exclusive Golf Clubs

How to Play The World’s Most Exclusive Golf Clubs

Just to be up front, I haven’t gone crazy and am now looking to do the World’s Top 100 Golf courses. Playing the Australian ones is enough for me. But this is a recently published book about ‘How to Play The World’s Most Exclusive Golf Clubs’.

Written by John Sabino, from top100golfblogspot.com, this book is a great insight into many aspects of his journey to play the World’s Top 100 Golf courses. It is an enjoyable read covering a range of topics including methods on how to gain access to some clubs, as well as an in depth look at some of the more exclusive clubs.

If you have ever read John’s blog, you will already have a feel for his writing style. Everything is his own honest opinion, which is quite witty at times. Not some puff piece that can be used for marketing material. In fact, for some clubs, they wouldn’t want any exposure.

I have found it quite interesting, having some similarities with my own quest to play the Australian Top 100 Golf Courses, although no where near as difficult as the World Top 100 journey. I have managed a couple of USA courses in the Top 100, but these have been public access.

This opened my eyes to some other methods I had not thought of which I will try and use, especially for Ellerston. Strangely enough this is one course mentioned in the book, although John had no luck in playing, although no real attempt was made.

The book is available from Amazon. I know there are a handful of people out there in Australia, thinking about playing the World Top 100 Golf courses. This will be of great use on your journey.
