It’s that time again, where the bi-annual release of Australian Golf Digest Top 100 Golf list is released. I have been extremely excited and nervous the last week, knowing it would be out any day now.

Aussie Golf Quest Update December 2015
With the year 2015 coming to a close, I have managed to reach my target of 75 courses played from the Australian Top 100 Golf course list produced by Australian Golf Digest.
Golf Australia Magazine 2016 Top 100 Golf Courses
Golf Australia Magazine have released their latest rating list, the 2016 ranking of all golf courses eligible in Australia. Not my official list that I am trying to complete, but one in which I do take a bit of interest.
Ocean Club
Travelling to the Bahamas for some R&R, I always like to get a game of golf in when visiting different places. Spending a few days at Atlantis Resort enabled me to gain access to the Ocean Club, so I jumped at the chance for this previous Top 100 Golf Resort course.
The Grange Golf Club East Course
With my Adelaide golfing experience half over, it was time to take on both the East and West courses at The Grange Golf Club. Only a handful of clubs in the country have two courses or more ranked in the Top 100 Australian Golf course list.

Most people think golf is really safe. Most of the time this is correct, but these are some of the things I have faced so far on my quest to play the top 100 Australian golf courses.
Waterford Valley Golf
Needing a change in scenery I decided to head out east and play Waterford Valley Golf. Eight years ago was the last and only time I had played the course. Now with the inclusion of trying to complete the Top 100 Australian public golf courses, it was well overdue for a return visit.
Royal Adelaide Golf Club
The second game scheduled for my Adelaide trip, was at World renown Royal Adelaide Golf Club. Regularly ranked in the Top 100 Australian lists, but also World Top 100 lists. This is certainly one of the more unique courses I have played in Australia.
Speed Golf at Yarra Bend Golf Club
A few months ago the Australian Speed Golf Open was held at Yarra Bend Golf Club. I happened to be down there on the day to hit the driving range, but before this I had never heard of speed golf.
