The last really remote location on my Top 100 golf journey was to Capricorn Resort Golf Course, located in North Queensland.
Araluen Golf Resort
Aiming to complete all the Western Australian courses in one last trip, it was straight to Araluen Golf Resort after an early morning flight from Melbourne. I was hitting the course after a cold snap had hit the west coast so it was extremely nippy.
RACV Royal Pines Aroona Binnowee Course (Old)
The final round for my Gold Coast week was being held at RACV Royal Pines Resort Aroona Binnowee course, previously in the Top 100 Golf back in 2008. This would be where the weeks winner would be decided.
Ocean Club
Travelling to the Bahamas for some R&R, I always like to get a game of golf in when visiting different places. Spending a few days at Atlantis Resort enabled me to gain access to the Ocean Club, so I jumped at the chance for this previous Top 100 Golf Resort course.
Waterford Valley Golf
Needing a change in scenery I decided to head out east and play Waterford Valley Golf. Eight years ago was the last and only time I had played the course. Now with the inclusion of trying to complete the Top 100 Australian public golf courses, it was well overdue for a return visit.
Yering Meadows Nursery Course
Yering Meadows is located in the suburb of Yering, located in Victoria’s Yarra Valley wine region. Nestled within a valley region, there are many
spectacular views available of the course and its surroundings.
Macquarie Links International Golf Club
Taking the opportunity to catch up with some golf buddies, Aaron and Joe, before my adventure to the US Masters, we decided to play at Macquarie Links, home club to one of the group. This helped another motive to have pictures of the course on the website.
Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club
A Graham Marsh designed course was completed in 2006, as a part of the Troon group. Located on the outskirts of Sydney (45 minute drive), it incorporates a residential estate.
