The final Top 100 golf course to be played south west of Melbourne was Thirteenth Beach Golf Links Creek course, located on the Bellarine Peninsula. That was my third stop on the April crusade.
Barwon Heads Golf Club
Travelling down to the Bellarine Peninsula as a part of my April crusade, one Top 100 golf course each weekend, saw a visit to one of the best courses in the area, Barwon Heads Golf Club.
Kooyonga Golf Club
The final game for my Adelaide trip was to Kooyonga Golf Club. The last of the Top 100 golf courses within Adelaide city I would be playing, was more than I expected.
The Grange Golf Club West Course
With my Adelaide golfing experience half over, it was time to take on both the East and West courses at The Grange Golf Club. Only a handful of clubs in the country have two courses or more ranked in the Top 100 Australian Golf course list.
The National Golf Club Ocean Course
A great course to reach a milestone of 75 courses played out of Australian Golf Digest Top 100 list. The National Ocean course is not the favourite among members, but is a great links style course.
Victoria Golf Club
Victoria Golf Club was my third sandbelt course played, based on my original goal of playing all Melbourne Sandbelt courses. This was four months before I decided to take on the Top 100, so at the time it was all about playing, not documenting.
The Grange Golf Club East Course
With my Adelaide golfing experience half over, it was time to take on both the East and West courses at The Grange Golf Club. Only a handful of clubs in the country have two courses or more ranked in the Top 100 Australian Golf course list.
Royal Adelaide Golf Club
The second game scheduled for my Adelaide trip, was at World renown Royal Adelaide Golf Club. Regularly ranked in the Top 100 Australian lists, but also World Top 100 lists. This is certainly one of the more unique courses I have played in Australia.
Glenelg Golf Club
Going to Adelaide for a bucks night, I thought it essential to ensure I got a few games of golf in. I had yet to play any top 100 Australian golf courses there, so took the opportunity to play all five, starting with Glenelg Golf Club.
Port Fairy Golf Links
Second stage to the weekend away along the Great Ocean Road, involved a visit to Port Fairy Golf Club. After a false start to get there a few months before, I was glad to finally make it after the four hour journey to this top 100 Australian golf course.
