Its Major Season

We have come to that time of the year where its major season. With a shake up of the calendar, this year will see all four majors played in as many months. If we count the Players (what some deem to be the unofficial fifth major), that is five months or great action.

With the US PGA Tournament moving to May, we will no longer have that big gap between the Masters and the US Open.

This year will see play at Augusta National for The Masters (the only tournament to play at the same course), Bethpage National Park Black course for the US PGA. Pebble Beach hosts the US Open. Lastly its been 68 years since The Open left mainland Great Britain. Royal Portrush in Ireland hosting, so hopefully the luck of the Irish may smile on a local champion.

One aspect I love about this years majors, I have played two of the courses and walked another (that being Augusta National). Bethpage I would have to say was one of the toughest courses I have ever played. It is always enjoyable to watch a tournament at a course you have visited. Certainly have a lot more buy in and understanding of a course.

So with only four days to go, can we see Tiger return to his best form, Rory or Spieth achieve a win in all four majors or Koepka continue his great big tournament form. Let the action begin.
