Barwon Heads Golf Club

Travelling down to the Bellarine Peninsula as a part of my April crusade, one Top 100 golf course each weekend, saw a visit to one of the best courses in the area, Barwon Heads Golf Club.

The final game for my Adelaide trip was to Kooyonga Golf Club. The last of the Top 100 golf courses within Adelaide city I would be playing, was more than I expected.

The Grange Golf Club West Course

With my Adelaide golfing experience half over, it was time to take on both the East and West courses at The Grange Golf Club. Only a handful of clubs in the country have two courses or more ranked in the Top 100 Australian Golf course list.

The National Golf Club Ocean Course

A great course to reach a milestone of 75 courses played out of Australian Golf Digest Top 100 list. The National Ocean course is not the favourite among members, but is a great links style course.

Royal Adelaide Golf Club

The second game scheduled for my Adelaide trip, was at World renown Royal Adelaide Golf Club. Regularly ranked in the Top 100 Australian lists, but also World Top 100 lists. This is certainly one of the more unique courses I have played in Australia.

Newcastle Golf Club

Playing the second leg of my weekend away, took me to a Top 100 course which can only be described as a hidden gem. A friend I had played with at NSW mentioned Newcastle Golf Club was just as good if not better than his home club. It certainly gives it some competition.

Elanora Country Club

Elanora Country Club, located high in the hills along the Northern Beaches of Sydney, was one of only two clubs left for me to play in my former home town. It turned out to be a gem.
