Mt Lawley Golf Club originally formed in 1927, when local residents in the area initiated meetings to establish a golf club. A site was selected (the current site) and funds raised, which initially saw the development of a 10 hole course which members eventually were able to play in 1930.
Ranfurlie Golf Club
The Ranfurlie course is a links style course. It is very open with little trees and runs away from the clubhouse which overlooks the whole site. From the clubhouse views of the city are also available. Being so open exposes the course to the elements.
Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club North Course
Peninsula C.G.C. was established in 1925 in Frankston. It was originally supposed to be an 18 hole course for men and a 9 hole course for women, but completion of this complex did not happen until 1948. For the first few years of the club it operated as an 11 hole course, until 1926 when the final 7 holes were completed.
Royal Melbourne Golf Club West Course

A Graham Marsh designed course was completed in 2006, as a part of the Troon group. Located on the outskirts of Sydney (45 minute drive), it incorporates a residential estate.
The Lakes Golf Club
The Lakes Golf Club was established in 1928 and built around the lake, which was part of the old Sydney water supply. The course remained as is until 1970 when it was re-designed by Robert van Hagge to allow for a new freeway.
Lake Karrinyup Country Club

Settlers Run Golf & Country Club
I had grown up watching Greg Norman, so was curious to play for the first time at one of his courses, that being Settlers Run Golf & Country Club. The experience did not leave me dissapointed.
Yarra Yarra Golf Club
With the inaugural event of the Australian Masters rotating around the Sandbelt courses being held at Kingston Heath, I was in town and noticed that Yarra Yarra Golf Club was holding an open day. As a part of my original goal of playing the Melbourne Sandbelt courses, this was an opportunity not to miss.
Huntingdale Golf Club
Huntingdale Golf Club is why this quest to play Australia’s Top 100 courses probably all started. Watching the Australian Masters for many years, prompted my motivation to get more out of golf than just playing the same course over and over again. The inspiration was to play where champions played.
